My friend works at a high school in Utah, which I will not name. He sent this newspaper clipping with the latest headline. While he considered it to be a perfect and hilarious example of what cuts are doing to education in his district, I am a little saddened. Take a look:
It is a sad day when answers to education seem blatantly obvious. Let this be a lesson to all of us as we consider what needs to happen with education. Let us not forget that the focus of education needs to be about the students, and what works for them. We need to give them a future where ‘education’ is spelled with a ‘c’.
